Pima Medical Institute’s flagship campus is the former site of Townsend Middle School. The 75,000 s.f. building is organized around a beautiful courtyard that encompasses approximately 25,000 square feet. Seaver Franks Architects has transformed the exterior of the former Tucson Unified School District building from a utilitarian middle school to a state-of-the-art medical campus. While using the existing structural skeleton, the interior has been completely remodeled to give it a modern collegiate look and feel.
