The surrounding desert and mountain ranges provided the colors, forms, and textures used in shaping this project. The design was meant to help give the O'Odham an identity they could call their own and be proud of.

Since its opening in August 2001, it has been very well received, not only as a casino, bust also as an image for the region and its people.
